सिरुबारी
गुरुङ जीवनशैली, संस्कृति र आत्मीयताका लागि संसारभर प्रख्यात गाउँ हो सिरुबारी । सिरुबारी अर्थात् नेपालको पहिलो पर्यटन गाउँ । होमस्टे पर्यटनको पाठशाला पनि । आँधीखोला गाउँपालिका–१, स्याङ्जाको गुरुङ बस्तीलाई सिरुबारी (१,६१० मिटर) भनिन्छ । गाउँमा ३९ घर छन् ।
गाउँमा सामुदायिक जङ्गल, गुम्बा, सङ्ग्रहालय र ग्रामीण पर्यटनका सूत्रधार क्याप्टेन रुद्रमान गुरुङको सालिकलगायत सम्पदा छन् । क्याप्टेन रुद्रमान नेपालमा सामुदायिक होमस्टेसहित ग्रामीण पर्यटन शुभारम्भ गर्ने अगुवा हुन् ।
सिरुबारीको शिरान देउरालीबाट धौलागिरि, अन्नपूर्ण, माछापुच्छ्रेदेखि लमजुङ हिमालसम्मको लामो लर्कन देखिन्छ । गोरुजुरे र थुम्रो जुरो (२,०२३ मिटर)बाट झन् राम्रो भ्यु देखिन्छ । डाँडामा उहिल्यै डहरा ऋषिले तपस्या गरेका थिए । त्यहाँ आश्रम पनि छ ।
सिरुबारीमा विसं २०५४ असोज २२ गतेदेखि पाहुना राख्न थालिएको हो । पछि विसं २०५७ मा यसलाई नेपालकै पहिलो नमुना पर्यटन गाउँ घोषणा गरियो । गाउँका १७ घरमा होमस्टे सुविधा छ, जहाँ ६० बेड छ ।
पाहुना सत्कार गर्ने सिरुबारीको शैली उदाहरणीय छ । पाहुनालाई गाउँको प्रवेशद्वारबाट फूलमाला र पन्चै बाजाले स्वागत गरेर गुम्बामा दर्शन गराएपछि घरघरमा बाँडेर राखिन्छ । साँझ सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम देखाइन्छ । मिठो खाना र आत्मीय व्यवहार सिरुबारीका विशेषता हुन् ।
कालो टोपी, गेडागुडी र मौसमी तरकारी सिरुबारीका कोसेली ।

कसरी पुग्ने: काठमाडौं–पोखरा २१० कि.मि., बसमा ६ घन्टा अथवा हवाई यात्रा २५ मिनेट । पोखरा–कार्कीनेटा–सिरुबारी ६४ कि.मि. । पोखराको पृथ्वीचोकबाट बिहान र दिउँसो सिरुबारी जाने बस छुट्छन् ।

Sirubari
Sirubari is the first touristic village in Nepal. It is also a school for homestay tourism in Nepal. It is situated in Andhikhola Rural Municipality-1, Syangja at an altitude of 1,610 m from the sea level. There are 39 households in the village.
The village has community forests, monasteries, museums and the heritage of rural tourism, including the statue of Captain Rudraman Gurung. Captain Rudraman is a leader in initiating rural tourism in Nepal, including community homestays.
From the hilltop of Deurali long ranges of snow-clad mountains including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre to Lamjung Himal is visible. Better view is possible from Gorujure and Thumro Juro (2,023 m). Long ago, a hermit called Dahara had meditated on the hill and there is an Ashram too.
Sirubari has been hosting guests since October 8, 1997. Later, it was declared as the first model tourist village of Nepal in the year 2000. There are homestay facilities with 60 beds in 17 houses in the village.
Sirubari’s style of hospitality is an exemplary where guests are greeted with flowers and panchai baja at the entrance of the village. After visiting the monastery (gumba), they are distributed to different homes. Cultural programs are demonstrated in the evening. Delicious food and friendly manners are the main characteristics of Sirubari homestay.
Black Nepali hat, pulses and seasonal vegetables are souvenirs of the village that can be taken back home.

How to reach :Kathmandu-Pokhara 200 km takes 6 hr by bus drive. 25 min by Air service. Pokhara-Karkineta-Sirubari is 64 km. There is a regular bus service from Prithibichowk, Pokhara every morning and afternoon.
